Release notes October 2024
Here's what's new in SaleSqueze this month:
Added catalog discounts. Instead of typing out each discount type manually in the Quote editor, you can select a preset catalog discount and apply it.
To create a catalog discount, go to Studio > Master data > Discounts. You can adjust priority and choose which catalog discounts are currently active.
Use the + Add a catalog discount option in the Quote editor to apply the preset discount.
You can still edit applied catalog discounts in each quote manually, if needed. This only applies to the current quote, it doesn't affect global catalog discount settings.
Added support for round robin quote assignment. You can now automatically assign incoming quotes to a random sales rep.
To enable this feature, go to your Showroom Settings > Quote Assignment and select Round Robin in the dropdown selector. Then, choose which users to include in the round robin. You can also set round robin quote assignment for the Customer hub.
Improved editor interface for custom pricing formulas:
Excel-like formula editor now includes documentation that covers syntax and examples to help you configure your pricing formulas without a script. As you type, suggestions will appear in the drop-down menu, similar to what you're used to in spreadsheet tools. The editor will also highlight any incorrect syntax with red.
Advanced feature settings: You can now enable advanced feature settings for the configurator model builder.
Instead of automatically creating a feature when typing in a name and pressing Enter, the Feature settings menu will now open. This lets you customize the feature key (eg. with an internal ID you already use in your ERP), select the feature type, and input other feature details. The new feature is saved by clicking on the Create feature button. To enable, go to Settings > Modules > Studio Settings, then tick the Advanced options box.
Added preselected configurator options to Guided Selling. This lets you use the same configurator for multiple Guided Selling options, but with a preconfigured product for each option.
